chapter 1- to discuss both past and present artists and works

I have watched alot of videos recently and they are all different. Doll Face was animation and had a big concept on how we see people on the TV and want to be them but don't always reach our goal and fail. Its visually very interesting and makes you think and has a big impact. Another video i have watched was Gisele Kerozene that was directed by Jan Kounen. This is very different as it doesn't necessarily have a big concept and it used stop frame animation which is much harder to do that animation and takes a very long time. It was also funny unlike Doll Face which concentrates on a real issue. Koyanisgatsi is a film i watched that had lots of views of landscape and was very beautiful whats different is that it uses no animation and is just filmed with a camera in different places that took them 6 years. It has many contrasts like light/dark and Good/bad and is trying to make to audience think unlike Gisele Kerozene which is being funny and using stop frame animation.
